Designing and developing an ecommerce business isn't as straightforward as going from point A to point B. Unless you want to do a mediocre job, that is. Instead, you're better off going from point A, to point B, then to point C, to then return back to point A and so on.
In real terms:
๐ Point A is designing a new feature, updated user flow or the barebones of your store when you're starting out.
๐ Point B is front end development, along with any other relevant back end integrations with databases to go live.
๐ Point C is watching the results come in, assuming you've got your analytics set up, and learn about what worked.
This is the cycle we swear by at Bothrs, for any kind of digital product development, really. Why? Incremental change is how you measure success, and learn what people like and don't like about your store. Like with statistics, you can't draw conclusions when you change a bazillion variables at the same time.
Also, from an investment perspective, wouldn't you rather spend a month working on something instead of a whole year to figure out the potential ROI of your project?
