Recently, we moved into our very own Nimble HQ in Ghent, and we’re excited to truly make it our own: a beautiful, functional office that reflects how we work and the energy we want to bring into the space.

There’s already a clear vision and a set of plans in motion (meeting rooms, kitchen, event & workshop space). Now we need someone to follow up and drive the execution end-to-end.

To make this project run smoothly, we’re looking for a hands-on freelance Project Manager who can own the practical execution: scope, planning, budget, contractor coordination, and crisp stakeholder alignment.

This is a project-based freelance assignment (not a full-time hire).

🏗️ The project

You’ll lead the delivery of our office redesign, from preparation to handover, making sure all moving parts (people, partners, budget, timeline, decisions) stay aligned.

You’ll work closely with Nimble’s founders and internal stakeholders, plus the architect and contractors on-site.

💼 What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the office renovation project from preparation to handover
  • Coordinate architect & contractors and run efficient site meetings
  • Own the planning and make sure work packages land on time
  • Own budget tracking and scenario steering (standard vs premium) and feed the numbers into the Belfius bank dossier
  • Manage change: quote comparisons, impact analysis, decision proposals, written approvals
  • Keep the founders out of daily firefighting via clear reporting and a tight action tracker

  • Experienced in project management for renovation / fit-out / construction coordination
  • Strong in contractor management and on-site follow-up
  • Pragmatic communicator: concise updates, clear next steps
  • Comfortable balancing budget vs. quality vs. timing
  • Fluent in NL and EN

This project needs someone who’s comfortable being on the ground and making things happen:

  • Structured, action-oriented check-ins and clear reporting
  • Tight follow-up with contractors and rapid escalation when needed
  • Decision support for stakeholders (options, trade-offs, recommendations)
