If you're in ecommerce and you don't have a mobile-first user experience ready, now is a great time to start. But why?
π People are on their phones all the time: at home vibing, on the bus or train, during toilet breaks, you name it.
π The global pandemic has us ordering stuff online now more than ever; ecommerce has been surging since.
π Expectations as to what makes a great online shopping experience, have never been higher.
So that begs the question, what kind of mobile experience should I be building then? Should I be looking at native apps, or progressive web apps?
Here's my view:
π€ Got the time, budget, and skilful developers and designers on hand? Go for a hyper-personalized shopping experience a native app can provide.
π€ Are time and budget an issue, or are you looking for a kind of one-size-fits-all solution? Then you should probably take a look at building a PWA.
